Welcome to "Off the Beaten Path" Off the Beaten Path opened its doors in November 1997 as a metaphysical, Interfaith, New Age store specializing in Wicca that was dedicated to serving the devotional needs of the community. Our goal was to provide a place where all people could shop for their religious and metaphysical needs in a prejudice-free environment comfortable in the knowledge that their beliefs were respected. Our varied religious backgrounds, spiritual paths, and training - both religious and metaphysical, provided us with a unique insight.  In March 2014, I closed the doors of Off the Beaten Path to take care of my husband who was battling Stage 4 lung cancer. He lost that battle on April 27, 2014.

Take a virtual tour of our shop.

I have kept the virtual tour on the website not only for nostalgia, but also to show online customers the experience and quality of Off the Beaten Path.  We may no longer have beautiful displays of merchandise, but the quality of our goods has never changed and I have the experience necessary to serve your needs..

Off the Beaten Path carries:

  • Judaica; mezuzahs, Shabbat candleholders, Kiddush cups, menorahs
  • Christian items, especially a lovely line of Catholic saint statues, and Baptism and First Communion gift sets
  • Buddhist religious items that include singing bowls and bells, tingshas, malas and prayer wheels.
  • Pagan and Wiccan statues and jewelry, and altar tools for Wiccan, Neo-Pagan, Shamanic, and Norse/Viking traditions.

You can expand your horizons at Off the Beaten Path by taking one of our many reasonably priced or free classes or workshops.  Unwind with guided meditations each month.  Our author events give you an opportunity to learn from some of the best in their field.  If you're interested in Feng Shui, this is a great place to get your Feng Shui "cures" - bells, mirrors, coins, prosperity charms.

Off the Beaten Path is also the perfect place to buy a gift!! In our jewelry section you can purchase natural gemstone jewelry at very modest prices. Many of our pieces are one-of-a-kind items that are hand picked at trade shows across the country. I can make custom gift baskets, and hand crafted meditation wands for your specific needs! We also have a free Gift Registry.
