	Hypnotherapy (hypnosis) is a very natural process of entering a state of deep relaxation. This helps your subconscious (or unconscious mind) become more attentive and receptive to suggestion, and, thus, more open to change. Hypnotherapy brings you to a natural, though altered, state of mind. You enter some form of hypnosis several times a day, like when you are driving and pass your turn-off because you haven't been paying attention. Everyone goes through natural, altered states before they fall asleep, and as they come into wakefulness. Therefore, most people can enter hypnotic relaxation easily, provided they want to.
	Hypnotherapy can be used for many things, including changing bad habits, getting rid of unwanted weight, pre and post surgery, and curing insomnia. It is also effective in dealing with anxiety, fears and phobias, depression, and acute and chronic illness.
	Cord cutting can also be done with hypnosis. Only those cords that people are ready to have cut are cut and then Reiki is used to fill the empty space that the cord occupied.

	"Reiki" (pronounced ray-key) comes from the Japanese ideograms "Rei" (spiritual wisdom) and "Ki" (life force). This universal energy has been referred to as "prana," "white light," "Christ-light," "the Force," or "chi."
	Reiki is mentioned in the ancient history of Japan and the Buddhist sutras (sacred writings). Its origin goes back at least 2,500 years. For many years this knowledge was a well guarded secret and only a few were trained in it, partially due to the high cost of learning and being attuned.
	Reiki is Universal Love; a gift from the Divine for healing, but is not a religion. Rather it is an ancient and simple system of laying on of hands that was returned to us by Dr. Mikao Usui (after being “lost” for many hundreds of years). Simply, the universal energy flows through a person (the vessel) and sends it through their hands to whomever they are working on. The hands are rested gently on the body and remain still for several minutes without any kind of manipulation. There is no need for an altered state of consciousness. The energy transfers easily through clothing, allowing the subject to remain fully clothed. Reiki works on the whole person – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.
	Emotional upset and mental stress will, with time, surface and manifest itself as physical imbalances, attitudes, and destructive habits.
